How the airport pickup works
Enter your flight number when you book and we follow the aircraft — early or late, the pickup moves with it at no extra cost. Your driver meets you inside the terminal once you have your luggage, and you pay in the car by card or cash. Then it is a direct run to Uppsala.
The route from Arlanda to Uppsala

This is the one route where the train is genuinely strong: a direct service runs from Arlanda C to Uppsala Central in under twenty minutes. The honest comparison is that if you are going to the station and travelling light, take the train. If you are going to a house, a hospital appointment or a hotel across town — or there are two of you with bags, once the Arlanda station passage fee is added — the car wins on both counts.

It is genuinely closer to Arlanda than central Stockholm is, so an early flight from Uppsala is far less painful than most people assume — and the E4 runs almost door to door.
Uppsala sits 38 km north of the airport while central Stockholm is 42 km south, so an early flight out of Uppsala is a shorter drive than one from Södermalm — something most people assume is the other way round.
