How the airport pickup works
Enter your flight number when you book and we follow the aircraft — early or late, the pickup moves with it at no extra cost. Your driver meets you inside the terminal once you have your luggage, and you pay in the car by card or cash. Then it is a direct run to Östermalm.
The route from Arlanda to Östermalm
E4 south to Norrtull, then Valhallavägen east — which keeps you out of the worst of the central traffic entirely.
The journey covers roughly 42 km and takes about 40 minutes in normal traffic. We check live traffic before setting off, so the arrival time you are given already accounts for the road at that hour.
Getting to Östermalm without a car
Arlanda Express to Central and then the red line back out east, which is a change and a reversal of direction. Östermalm is on the far side of the centre from the station, so the train's advantage has largely gone by the time you arrive.
About Östermalm
Östermalm is where Stockholm keeps its grand boulevards: Strandvägen along the water, the food hall at Östermalmstorg, the nightlife around Stureplan and quiet embassy streets towards Gärdet. It is also the closest district to Djurgården, so visitors heading for the Vasa Museum or Skansen usually stay here.
Valhallavägen gives us a clean run in from the north, so Östermalm is often quicker from Arlanda than addresses that look closer on a map but sit behind the city centre.

Can you collect me from an address near Stureplan late at night?
Yes, at the same price as midday. There is no night surcharge and no weekend supplement, which is the opposite of what the rank outside a Stureplan club will quote you at two in the morning.
